IIAS - Project PoSSUM Logo and Patch

Recently I was asked to redesign the Project PoSSUM mission patch (the original featured a now-defunct XCOR Lynx spaceplane). This patch retains the shape, mascot and general colors of the original. The flattened circle represents polar noctilucent clouds. Below it are the three layers of the atmosphere and the black Earth, already in nighttime. The swoosh represents the suborbital trajectory PoSSUM researchers will fly while studying these clouds.
