Educator, Artist, Astronaut (?)

I'm a husband, father of 2, professional STEM educator, freelance graphic artist, writer of not-so-serious poetry and lifelong space nerd. I'm also a PADI-certified SCUBA diver and Citizen Scientist Astronaut Candidate with Project PoSSUM. I haven't been to space (yet), but I have helped test a prototype spacesuit in microgravity, visited the space shuttle Endeavour on the launch pad days before the STS-77 mission, launched more than a dozen high-altitude balloons carrying student experiments and led over 1,000 simulated space missions. I studied planetary geology and astrobiology and have made a great career over the last 25+ years in informal STEM education at various science centers and museums across the country.
